Accommodation In Llanwrtyd Wells
Stay At The Neuadd Arms Hotel

For over 155 years, a family-run hotel in the centre of Llanwrtyd Wells has provided accommodation. The lounge and public bars preserve the hotel’s 19th-century character, complete with open log fires, a character that has all but disappeared in this age of makeovers and hostelry updates.

All 20 rooms have en-suite facilities with a bath, shower, or both. They also have tea and coffee-making facilities and Freeview TV. Whilst not necessarily appealing to those who prefer a bland, uniform corporate hotel style, our rooms are quirky and individual, with sloping floors and wonky doors, vintage furniture (sometimes matching), and personal decoration. Don’t expect a Premier Inn! We are happy to accept well-behaved dogs, but do not allow them in the restaurant.

Facilities include the traditional farmers’ Bell Bar, featuring the original servants’ bells, and a comfortable Lounge Bar. Both bars serve a wide range of Real Ales brewed on the premises. There is also a games room for pool, quoits, and darts and a Residents’ TV lounge, which is equipped with a selection of books and numerous jigsaw puzzles.

The Hotel has its coin-operated launderette open to guests and the public.

We have a reputation for our good home cooking, which includes vegetarian dishes and a wide range of curries (one of our specialities). We will always try to accommodate any particular dietary requirements.

Finally, the hotel is also uniquely associated with a famous celebrity, Screaming Lord Sutch, and is the Green Events home, where famous events such as Man V Horse and Bog Snorkelling are organised.
