• Carry out an Induction when you collect the bikes, covering:
• Using the gears
• Controlling e-bike speeds
• General e-bike safety
• How to use the basic repair kit provided
• Supply helmets if you do not have your own
• Supply locks to secure e-bike/bikes when not in use
• Use tracking equipment on the bikes. We will not store tracking data linked to individual hirers except on the day of the hire

• I will provide valid photo ID and a payment before hiring a bike
• I acknowledge that anyone using Llanwrtyd Wheels E-Bikes and accessories do so entirely at their own risk
• I agree to undergo an induction and take note of the information provided
• I understand and accept the risks involved in cycling activities
• I agree to abide by the Highway Code’s Rules and regulations for e-bikes and take responsibility for any accidents caused whilst riding
• I have the skills, knowledge, and competence to use the hire equipment
• I will ride hired bikes safely and responsibly, avoiding racing and unsuitable routes
• I will report any accidents or any damage to helmets to Llanwrtyd Wheels
• I will wear a cycle helmet and assume full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or deaths resulting from not wearing a helmet
• I am fit to ride an e-bike and have no pre-existing medical conditions that could be aggravated by using an e-bike
• I will use the supplied locks to secure the e-bike when not in use
• I understand the dangers of cycling over cattle grids and will use pedestrian gates where available or dismount and walk over the grid
• I acknowledge the hazards of using trails and uneven ground, especially in wet weather and on gravel surfaces
• I will return the items in the condition in which they were received and agree to pay the full cost of replacements (if items are not returned) or repairs if items are returned damaged
• I will return the e-bike and all its accessories on the agreed date and time, and agree to pay a £20 penalty for late returns
• I am over 14 years of age and understand that an adult must accompany anyone under 18 to hire a bike

Llanwrtyd Wells will not be held responsible for injury to any members of your party or any other third party during the period of the hire or any loss or damage to your own personal property

All bikes in your party must always be ridden safely and responsibly

The bikes will not be used for racing under any circumstances

The bikes will not be ridden on any route beyond the level of skill of any party member or on a route unsuitable for the hired bike

LLANWRTYD WHEELS RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO HIRE BIKES AND ACCESSORIES TO ANY INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP
